Always delicious ice cream, and friendly staff!! Also they have some of the cutest things and adorable little seating areas!!

Great place to get ice cream, they stay pretty busy but move you through quickly.

I’ve never been a huge custard fan, but I think I’ve converted - thanks to Uncle Eddy’s. It really does have a unique taste and creamy texture that is different from ice cream. We were pleasantly pleased with our rice crispy and Brooklyn...(forgot the name, but so worth trying).In addition to the custard, it’s kind of a perfect little date night or family spot with the mini golf. The staff does a good job keeping things clean and tidy too! Would definitely return.

Nice little ice cream/custard stop. We arrived 20 minutes before closing, and we were the only ones there. Pretty good selection and everything tasted pretty good. Not the best that I've had, but good nonetheless! I had the "Elvis" flavor. Small little gift shop here too.

Been coming here for as long as I can remember and appreciate the dairy-free options they offer in the form of the sorbets. The atmosphere is nice and laid-back, and I’ve never been disappointed by any of their menu items. However, I would be sincerely thrilled if instead of using styrofoam cups and bowls, if they would use paper or even recycled plastic containers. This would be a more eco-friendly, yet just as effective choice of serving their merchandise.

Staff isn't very friendly. The place smells like bad floral candles. But the saving grace is the custard. It is quite tasty.

After reading the reviews sent my sons with little warning of possible expectations. They came back and said what mean blonde haired lady? 2 people working both were nice they said. They both got waffle cones and enjoyed each flavor. Cookies and cream and vanilla. Tomorrow i will save some room so i can give uncle eddys a try 😀

It was so much fun, and the ice cream was delicious. The price was reasonable and the employees where super nice. I would definitely recommend it.

Good ice cream all around. We were a party of 6 and we thought they did pretty good considering we were in the middle of two large parties and behind us came several more large parties.

Delicious home made ice cream custard, soft serve cones, sundaes, and milk shakes. Plus stop and rest a while and enjoy a game of mini golf.

Excellent ice cream treats ...plus 18 holes of miniature golf! Great way to spend an afternoon. Plus .... Golf is unlimited so we will go around again!

Good size portions for the money...hidden behind a mini golf course so you have to look for it..the Chilly Willy Sunday with Peppermint Patty candies in it was s real treat

We showed up to this place looking for custard, walked in, the shop not smelling the greatest, and waited to order our custard after picking from the huge selection of 4 flavors (man was it a hard choice). But we were still extremely excited about the custard until we tasted it. Wow!! Was it terrible. Worst frozen custard I have ever had. Super freezer burnt. If you are looking for ice cream go to cool wave ice cream.

Great custard tucked in behind a neat shopping area. My son who rarely gets ice cream out because of corn syrup allergy could get the vanilla custard and was thrilled.

We came here for the ice cream and it didn’t disappoint. If you feel like buying some shells or playing mini golf as well this place has got you covered.

The golf course is small and a little worn down but it does the trick. It’s not pack so it’s nice to be able to play at your own pace with the kids. It has incredible custard ice cream inside super tasty.

Only played the mini golf, but as long as you have insect repellent it is one of the best 18 holes put into such a small space while using the natural features there.

Great place very affordable considering they allow you to keep on golfing for no additional cost.

Amazing Black Cherry almond. Hand crafted ice cream. Go and do a round of minigolf too. Across from the chowder at Diamond Shoals. Mk ice gift shop too.

Buxtons BEST! 5 outta 5 stars. Nostalgic type feel in a way from a similar creamery I would visit as a child in the 1970s. Icecreams were only 25cents though.

Yummy! Got a vanilla custard Sunday with strawberries and bananas and a waffle cone with two scoops of espresso chocolate chip ice cream. Delicious. Nice atmosphere too!

Great ice cream and terrific service

Staff is wonderful and very honest. When they are lacking something due to high customer volume they are more then helpful to find a solution so everyone can enjoy their delicious treats.

I was very shocked to see that this is a very small place, packing an unlimited number of customers in the lobby. There was also an unruly group of teenagers refusing to wear a mask and purposely coughing on people, including a poor pregnant woman. It was atrocious and the staff didn’t take appropriate actions to control the situation.I am shocked and disgusted and was so scared for my children. This is not a good place!!!

This place is in total breach of the county guidelines. No social distancing whatsoever, place is super crowded, no one wearing masks. Getting sick for I e cream? Really?

Small family-owned ice cream shop. Specializing in Frozen custards. Also had a selection of frozen homemade sorbet. Quality was good, people were friendly.

This place has some of the best custard ever. They always have chocolate and vanilla on hand as well as some other great flavors in rotation thought the year. Try the "Elvis" if they have it and you won't regret it. The golf course is super fun and beautiful. You pay a tourist tax at 8$ bucks a head, but it's a great place to play in the shade or in the cool of the evening.

This is one place to go after a long day of seeing lighthouses. Awesome custards.

Pretty decent ice cream/Frozen Custard parlor. The place looks like it's seen better days, but is overall in good condition.They have a mini golf course out front and what seems like might get to be cramped parking during peak hours.You can either sit outside or inside, which is nice during the evening. They sell various seashell/beach jewelry and decorations.We enjoyed our ice cream and the staff were pretty friendly. I also like how the location is not far from the beach and other amenities.If you're in the area, you should stop by and try it out.

Uncle Eddy's has been a go to for quality ice cream that is home made for over ten years of coming to Hatteras. The size and price are a little high but it is very good and they always have different many different flavors.

Milk shakes were very good. Staff was friendly... They are not cheap, but well worth the stop...
